The patron of Morano sul Po is San Giovanni Battista (Saint John the Baptist), celebrated on 29 August; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista.
At the end of October 1656 the boat of Queen Christina of Sweden, on a pilgrimage from Turin to Rome, passed along the Po: at Morano she was greeted with great jubilation by the crowd gathered on the embankment. The municipality also holds the Chiesa di San Nicola, the Chiesa di San Pietro Martire, the Chiesa della Madonna del Ceppo and the Museo civiltà risicola.
