The tower of San Quilico stands by the Stura stream, in the hamlet named after it: it was the bell tower of a parish church that has vanished, and now stands alone. It dates from the twelfth century. In a document of 1725 the bishop of Casale describes three naves and a roof in wretched condition, about to fall.

A cemetery lay beside it, eaten away bit by bit by the floods of the nearby stream; weapons and old coins turned up in the rubble, evidence of a settlement probably grown from a Roman pagus. The tower alternates grey tuff and pinkish brick, crossed arches below and four two-light windows on top.
