The patron saint of Prato Sesia is Saint Bernard of Menthon, celebrated on 15 June; his statue is kept in the first chapel of the left nave of the Parish Church of San Bernardo, a very old building with records dating back to the 14th century, with three naves supported by eight granite columns.
On 8 September, the feast of the Nativity of Mary is celebrated, in the Church of the Natività di Maria Vergine: for the occasion, the age-old tradition of Sunday services is still kept, with vespers and the auctioned offering, ending with pleasant outings in the surrounding vineyards. The town also holds the Church of the Madonna della Neve and the Torre di Sopramonte.
