The patron of Valdilana is Saint Bernard of Menthon, celebrated on 15 June: in 1923 Pope Pius XI proclaimed him patron of mountain-dwellers and mountaineers.
His sanctuary stands in the Oasi Zegna, near Bielmonte, the municipality's ski destination. Valdilana was created in 2019 from the merger of Trivero — where the town hall sits, in the Ronco hamlet — with Mosso, Soprana and Valle Mosso. Among the other places of worship in the area is also the sanctuary of Nostra Signora della Brughiera, in the hamlet of Bulliana.
