The patron of Sizzano is Saint Victor, celebrated on 8 May, to whom the Chiesa parrocchiale di San Vittore is dedicated.
A solemn vow is remembered, made to Saints Roch, Fabian and Sebastian, to hallow their feasts every year in perpetuity and to carry their images in procession: as soon as the act was done, the plague ceased. On 20 April 1663 the bishop of Novara, Monsignor Giulio Maria Odescalchi, solemnly consecrated the present parish church.
