The patron of Maglione is San Maurizio, celebrated on 22 September; the village holds the Chiesa parrocchiale di San Maurizio.
At the end of mass the procession leaves the church with eight girls carrying «matarille» and eight boys carrying halberds: the matarilla is a cone-shaped structure 120 centimetres high placed on the head of each girl and looks like a little flowering tree. Fruit growing, in particular peach orchards, is linked to a permanent fruit market from 15 May to 30 September and to the sagra delle pesche (peach festival) on the last Sunday of July. The municipality also holds the Chiesa di San Grato and the Chiesa di San Rocco.
