Nichelino guards one of the Savoy marvels: the Stupinigi Hunting Lodge, the rococo masterpiece Filippo Juvarra designed in 1729 for royal hunts — UNESCO-listed with the Savoy Residences, its bronze stag atop the dome and a great rondeau of woods and avenues converging on it. Napoleon stayed here; today it houses original furnishings and major exhibitions.
