Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, patron of the land of the Ritano islet
📅 Every year, on the third Sunday of June
Rondissone celebrates Saint Aloysius Gonzaga on the third Sunday of June.
Rondissone lies almost entirely on the right bank of the Dora Baltea, inside the Po river park: the village stands at 211 metres, the lowest ground, 181 metres, along the river.
The name is thought to come from a personal name, Rundi, and from the surname Rondello. On the upper half of the arms, on a blue field, fly three swallows: two black on the left, the upper one with an olive branch in its beak, and a white one at the lower right, facing up.
