The patron of Alagna Valsesia is Saint John the Baptist, celebrated on 24 June; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista.
In autumn the characteristic procession known as the Rosario fiorito takes place, dating back to 1683: it stands for thanksgiving to the Virgin for the protection given to the herds and the alpine pastures during the summer season.
