The patron of Campertogno is Saint James (San Giacomo), celebrated on 25 July; the municipality holds the parish Chiesa di San Giacomo Maggiore. On the Monday following the patronal feast the Procession of Saint Anne takes place, once the most important event for the Confraternity of San Bernardino and Santa Marta, which led the procession; today it is still deeply felt by the people and leads to the church of the Madonna delle Grazie from Canton Gianoli.
Other traditions include the torchlight procession of the Callone, on the evening of 14 August, which descends from the Callone to Campertogno towards the main church of San Giacomo Maggiore, and the pilgrimage to Punta Sivella, instituted in 1939, which reaches the bronze Crucifix on the summit (2,523 m): today the climb, the Mass and the festival take place on the last Sunday of August.
