Giovinazzo celebrates Saint Thomas the Apostle on 3 July; the town's co-patron is Holy Mary of Corsignano, on 18 August. From the late 1990s until 2017, the town hosted the Giovinazzo Rock Festival, recognised within the national circuit of music festivals.
