The patron saints of Giovinazzo are Saint Thomas the Apostle, celebrated on 3 July, and Holy Mary of Corsignano, celebrated on 18 August.
Born in the late 1990s from the initiative of a group of young people and the town's Department of Culture, and organised since 2005 by the A.R.C.I. association, the Giovinazzo Rock Festival was included and recognised in the national circuit of music festivals, also thanks to its participation in several editions of the Meeting delle Etichette Indipendenti: over the years it hosted more than 180 artists, until it ended in 2017. The town also holds the Dolmen di San Silvestro and the church of Sant'Agostino.
