The patron saint of Noicattaro is Our Lady of Mount Carmel, celebrated on the Sunday after 16 July with solemn celebrations lasting four days, including the fair of the same name. As early as 1742, Our Lady of Mount Carmel had been proclaimed protector of the town.
At the former Capuchin convent complex, the Secular Franciscan Order operates, organising every year the procession of Saint Anthony in June and that «of the Cross» in May. The town also holds the mother church of Noicattaro and that of Santa Maria Incoronata.
