The patron saint of Terlizzi is Santa Maria di Sovereto, celebrated on 23 April. The town's co-patrons are Saint Michael, celebrated on the first Sunday of August, and Our Lady of the Rosary, celebrated on the first Sunday of October.
Since the 18th century, the main feast has been marked by a 22-metre triumphal float, entirely made of wood, carried through the town's streets, pushed by the faithful and guided by four helmsmen. The town also holds the Cathedral of Saint Michael the Archangel, the Palazzo Baronale de Gemmis and the Villa di San Giuliano.
