The patroness of Volturino is the Madonna della Serritella, celebrated on the first Sunday of May and on 8 September; the village holds the Santuario di Santa Maria della Serritella.
On the first Sunday of May the statue of the Madonna is carried in procession with great solemnity from the church of the Serritella to the Badiale church, among carts decorated with fruit, flowers and products of the land. The Madonna della Serritella was unanimously proclaimed patroness of Volturino on 8 May 1774. The municipality also holds the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta, the Torre di Montecorvino and the Monte la Guardia.
