The patron of Bulzi is Saint Sebastian the Martyr, in Sardinian "Sanctu Bestianu", celebrated on 20 January.
The town's calendar of traditions includes the old Carnival, with the "Sapadu iscasciadu", the Holy Week rites and, on the eve of the Ascension, the Festa degli Ammalati (Festa de sos Malaidos); on Ascension day the "ardia" rides around the village and the church of San Pietro delle Immagini.
