Positioned 30 kilometres southwest of Messina and 180 kilometres east of Palermo, Furci Siculo forms part of the Valle d'Agrò district. It belongs to the broader association of the Ionian Peloritani valley municipalities.
With a population of 3,428, Furci Siculo shares borders with neighbouring municipalities such as Savoca, Pagliara, and Roccalumera. The town established a formal partnership with Octeville-sur-Mer in France in 2010.
