The patrons of Calceranica al Lago are Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated on 29 June. Traditional is the sagra of Saint Peter and Saint Paul, during which a few folk games are played, tug-of-war and the greasy pole, and fish is fried in the square.
In the past the procession of the lightning-struck was held, in memory of two people killed on 30 July 1865 by a lightning bolt that struck the church during a service. The municipality holds the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta, the Chiesa di Sant'Ermete and the Museo Minerario Calceranica (mining museum).
