The patron of Marradi is Saint Lawrence, celebrated on 10 August.
On the Sundays of October, the Sagra delle Castagne e del Marron Buono is held, reached for the occasion even by a steam train, the Treno delle Castagne. On 20 August, a celebration is also held in honor of Dino Campana, the poet born in Marradi. The town holds the Eremo di Gamogna and the Badia di Santa Reparata, as well as the Teatro degli Animosi.
