The patron saint of Castel Viscardo is Saint Anthony of Padua, celebrated on 27 August with the church dedicated to him: it is the second patronal feast of the year, after that of the Exaltation of the Cross, celebrated on 3 May. On 17 January, instead, animals are blessed, with the distribution of the traditional «panettuzzi di Sant'Antonio», while on the night of the Epiphany the «Pasquarella» is sung through the town's streets, and on Good Friday the procession of the Dead Christ takes place.
The town preserves traces of its history in the Castello di Madonna Antonia and that of Monterubiaglio, as well as the necropolis of Caldane.
