The patron saint of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses is Saint Leonard of Noblac, celebrated on 6 November. The 19th-century church dedicated to him stands in the main hamlet of Saint-Léonard, next to the castle of Bosses, a monobloc-type fortification dating from the 14th-15th centuries; in the hamlet of Saint-Rhémy stands instead the 18th-century church of San Remigio.
The town, which takes its name from the nearby Great Saint Bernard pass, keeps alive the tradition of the Combe Froide carnival, with its parade of landzette: the traditional masks, inspired by the uniforms of the Napoleonic troops that once terrorised the area. Every 5 August the pilgrimage of the Madonna delle Nevi to the sanctuary of Fonteinte also takes place.
