The patron saint of Baragiano is Saint Roch, celebrated on 16 August. His 16th-century chapel holds inside five fine wooden statues.
In the lower part of the settlement stands the church of the Concezione, while the church of the Santissima Annunziata dates from the 15th century: the latter, the town's oldest, has always enjoyed particular prestige for its statue of the Madonna, widely venerated even in neighbouring towns. Also of interest is the church of Santa Maria Assunta, known as «di Mezzagosto», of Renaissance origin and repeatedly modified and restored over time. The municipal territory also holds the Archeoparco del Basileus.
