The patron saint of Savoia di Lucania is Saint Roch, celebrated on 16 August, the day of his main feast. The town's patronal calendar, however, is richer: on 16 May a procession dedicated to the saint is held, while on 13 August a mass in his honour is celebrated at Monte Costa la Serra, at the foot of an imposing statue of Saint Roch that overlooks the municipal territory.
The local religious calendar also includes other observances: on Pentecost, the Madonna del Latte is celebrated, in June Corpus Domini, and on 15 August the Assumption. The town also preserves the Castello Salviano, the Cascate del Vallone del Tuorno waterfalls, and Monte Macchia Carrara.
