The patron saint of Calvera is Saint Cajetan, celebrated on 7 August, in the church of San Gaetano. In 1875 a great landslide destroyed much of the settlement of Calvera, sweeping away the mother church that had been dedicated to the saint: an event that deeply marked the town's history and its urban geography.
The municipal territory also preserves the church of the Madonna del Carmine, alongside places that recount different eras of local history, such as the Ponte Mussolini, the Palazzo De Nigris and the waterfalls of the Vallone stream.
