Pope Saint Leo IX, patron of a territory rich in devoted hamlets
📅 Every year, on 8 May
Sessa Aurunca celebrates Pope Saint Leo IX on 8 May; the municipality's many hamlets, however, hold their own distinct devotions, such as the Madonna della Libera at Cascano, celebrated on the first Sunday of May.
