The patron saint of Caivano is Our Lady of Campiglione, whose feast falls on the second Sunday of May and represents the town's main annual religious event. The Madonna di Campiglione is depicted in an ancient Byzantine fresco kept in the sanctuary dedicated to her, a destination of great popular devotion.
Caivano holds important historic evidence of its past, including the medieval castle and the old town centre, rich in noble palaces and churches. Among the town's places of worship also stand out the church of San Paolo Apostolo, the parish of San Giorgio Martire and the parish church of San Pietro.
