The patron saint of Sant'Antimo is Saint Antimus, priest and martyr, celebrated on 11 May in the sanctuary dedicated to him, a destination of intense popular devotion since ancient times.
The patronal feast, held on the last Sunday of May or the first of June, preserves one of the last examples still present in Italy of the traditional «Volo degli Angeli» (Flight of the Angels), a rite that also serves as a tourist draw for the town. The municipal territory also holds the Castello Baronale di Sant'Antimo, testimony to the town's feudal past.
