The patroness of Coreno Ausonio is Saint Margaret (Santa Margherita), celebrated on 20 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa di Santa Margherita.
On the first Sunday of August the Palio delle Contrade takes place; the town's events also include the Corsa degli Asini (donkey race). The corneglie, the pascotthe corenese and the tarallo dolce di latte corenese are traditional agri-food products of Lazio, recognised by the Ministry. The municipality also holds the Chiesa della Madonna della Quercia.
