The patron of Giuliano di Roma is Saint Blaise, celebrated on the last Sunday of August. On the evening of the preceding Saturday, the faithful of Giuliano carry in procession a sacred image, kept in the sacristy of the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, starting from the ancient church that hosted it for centuries.
On 16 August, another sacred image is carried in procession through the town's streets: after the rite, in the church square, the «panuncegli» are blessed, loaves of bread prepared free of charge as a sign of devotion by some citizens. The town holds the Shrine of the Madonna della Speranza, the Shrine of San Luca and the Museo del Vulcanismo Ernico, as well as the ruins of the Castello di Monte Acuto.
