The patron saint of Casella is Saint Roch, celebrated on 16 August. The town preserves Palazzo Fieschi and the church of Santo Stefano, as well as the church of Nostra Signora del Suffragio.
The municipal territory, dominated by Monte Carmo and Monte Capanna, hosts every summer gatherings, events and fairs organised by numerous associations, including from the metropolitan area, who use the town's events area; nearby are also the municipal heliport and the municipal swimming pool complex.
