The patron saint of Davagna is Saint Peter, celebrated on 29 June. The parish church of San Pietro Apostolo, in the main town, took on its present appearance in the 18th century, when the choir and entrance were reversed and the structure was redivided into three naves.
The municipal territory preserves other notable historic churches: that of San Giovanni Battista, in the hamlet of Marsiglia, mentioned as early as 1213, which houses the relics of Saint Celestine and a silver cross, solemnly carried in procession during religious festivities, which the people ransomed during the Napoleonic army's invasion in 1798; that of Sant'Andrea, in the hamlet of Calvari; and that of San Colombano Abate, in the hamlet of Moranego.
