In mid-August Armo fills up for the feast of San Bernardo, held together with the sagra du pan fritu, the fried bread festival, and running over three days. The Pro Loco and the town council organise it.
The event is on the Liguria Region's Eventi Autentici Liguri list, which credits it with more than fifty years of history. The little church of San Bernardo stands on the heights above the village, near the pass of the same name and not far from the Colle di Nava; in its present form it was rebuilt by the villagers in 1953.
