The patron saint of Armo is Saint John of Nepomuk, celebrated on 16 May.
The town's parish church, dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, dates from the 16th century: it originally depended on the parish community of San Martino di Moano, but it was in 1551 that it changed its ancient dedication to the Assumption to its present name. Between 1627 and 1635 the building underwent structural reconstruction. Among the works it preserves is the polyptych of Saint Anne with the Blessed Virgin. The town also preserves the chapels of San Matteo, San Sebastiano and San Bernardo, as well as the remains of the castle of Armo, on the Rocca delle Penne.
