The patron saint of Borghetto d'Arroscia is Saint Mark the Evangelist, celebrated on 25 April. The parish church dedicated to him, in the main village, was reworked in Baroque style in the 17th century, as was the adjoining bell tower: inside is a font of worked black stone, resting on a column.
The municipal territory preserves a Roman-era bridge over the Arroscia stream; on the night of 6 October 1944 the partisan Raimondo Rossi, known as «Ramon», blew up the bridge of Borghetto to cut off the road links of German columns stationed in the valley, ahead of the clash that later took place near Vessalico. Besides the main village, the town comprises the hamlets of Gavenola, Gazzo, Leverone, Montecalvo, Ubaga and Ubaghetta: the last of these preserves, in the church of Sant'Antonio Abate, a 1537 polyptych by Pietro Guido and a stone baptismal font from 1504.
