The patron saint of Framura is Saint Martin, celebrated on 11 November. The parish church dedicated to him, in the hamlet of Costa, dates from the 12th century and was reworked between the 15th and 16th centuries: it has as its bell tower a 9th-century Carolingian turret, testimony to the Frankish rule that, following the fall of the Lombard kingdom, left its mark on the territory.
Framura also preserves the church of the Madonna della Neve and that of San Lorenzo, while the municipal territory is dominated by Monte di Sant'Agata and Monte Cappellazzo, crossed by numerous small streams including the Castagnola, which rises on the slopes of Monte San Nicolao.
