The patron saint of Spotorno is the Most Holy Annunciation, celebrated on 25 March. The parish church dedicated to her, in the old town centre, was reconsecrated in 1694 and holds 17th- and 18th-century works of art, including the pipe organ built by Filippo Piccaluga in 1772.
Next to it stands the oratory of the Most Holy Annunciation, home to the confraternity of the same name since the mid-17th century: it holds paintings by Giulio Benso, Domenico Piola and Giovanni Battista Merano, as well as a great many ex-votos left by the village's sailors, a testament to Spotorno's maritime vocation, defended in the 16th century by the coastal towers built by the Republic of Genoa against Saracen pirate raids.
