Martinengo celebrates Saint Agatha on 5 February, in the church dedicated to her. On the first and second Sunday of October, the feast of the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Fiamma is held; on the third Sunday of October, the Palio dei Cantù is run, with a historical parade of 500 extras and a donkey race.

The patron of Martinengo is Saint Agatha, celebrated on 5 February in the Church of Sant'Agata.

On the first and second Sunday of October, the feast of the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Fiamma is held, with a painting contest in its contemporary and impromptu sections. On the second Saturday of October, the Palio delle Porte is run, an international road athletics race; on the third Sunday of the month, instead, the Palio dei Cantù is held, with a historical parade of 500 extras and a donkey race. The town also holds the Monastery of Santa Chiara and the Castle of the Martinengo family.
