The patrons of Poncarale are Saints Gervase and Protase, celebrated on 19 June in the Church of Santi Gervasio e Protasio.
In the second half of August, the Sagra di San Bernardo is held, at the Oratorio San Giovanni Bosco, with typical Brescia dishes and music. Since 2025, the Palio delle Contrade has also been held every year, involving the San Giovanni Bosco and San Luigi Gonzaga oratories and the town gym: the town is divided into four districts, including Fontane, coloured light blue. On 17 January 1998, the first «6» win at the Superenalotto lottery was guessed in Poncarale.
