The patron saint of Gorgonzola is Saint Catherine of Alexandria, celebrated on 25 November: alongside the feast, the Saint Catherine Fair is held, its celebrations usually falling on the last Sunday of the month.
Every September the town hosts the Gorgonzola Festival, dedicated to the famous cheese that takes its name from the town, while the Fiera dei Sapori d'Italia is also held during the year. The town also holds the Parish Church of San Carlo, that of Santi Gervasio e Protasio and the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell'Aiuto.
