The patron saint of Nova Milanese is Saint Antoninus the Martyr, celebrated on the third Sunday of September in the parish church named after him.
The town hosts the Nova Milanese Trade Fair and the Nova Gospel Festival every year, along with several cultural prizes: the «I racconti della memoria» literary prize, the Bice Bugatti painting prize and the Giovanni Segantini drawing prize, and the «Ad Novam» poetry prize. The municipal territory also holds Villa Vertua Masolo and the church of Santa Maria Assunta.
