The church of the Assunta holds an altarpiece of the Annunciation by Teodoro D'Errico, next to it a Flemish painting of the Virgin of the Assumption and a case with the relics of Saint Constantius: not bad for a village of 466 people. The church was Norman; the earthquake of 1656 cut its three naves down to one, and in 1738 it was founded again from scratch.

Of the Middle Ages, all that is left in the village is the thirteenth-century town gate with its pointed arch. Palazzo Magliano, which may once have been the castle, still has its battered walls; and the coat of arms carries a three-peaked mountain with a star above it.
