The patrons of Sarezzano are Saint Rufinus and Saint Venantius (san Ruffino e san Venanzio), celebrated on 14 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa dei Santi Venanzio e Ruffino.
The leading instrument of this area is the Apennine piffero, a folk oboe which, accompanied by the accordion and once by the müsa (the Apennine bagpipe), leads the dances and enlivens the feasts. The territory also includes Monte Caminario, Monte Mirano and Monte Bosso.
