On 10 August Camerano Casasco, a municipality of 480 inhabitants in the province of Asti, celebrates its patron Saint Lawrence (san Lorenzo).
Camerano Casasco — Cameran in Piedmontese — is a hill village in the province of Asti, and the name holds two settlements together; the castle stands in the Casasco one, the parish church is dedicated to San Lorenzo. Part of the territory lies inside the special nature reserve of Valle Andona, Valle Botto and Val Grande. The arms line up three families: the ivy leaves of the Camerano of Asti, the golden tower of the Asinari, the red bends of the Del Carretto.
Sant'Antonio's church faces the road with a white plastered gable front, a four-lobed opening above the grated door and two blind niches; the brick bell tower beside it stands taller.
