On 26 July Revigliasco d'Asti, a municipality of 833 inhabitants in the province of Asti, celebrates its patroness Saint Anne (sant'Anna).
Revigliasco d'Asti is a village of a little over eight hundred people in the Astesana, the historic country spreading around Asti. In Piedmontese the name is said in three different ways: Revijasch, the full form, and then the two shorter ones, Ariasch and Riasch. For a place this size that is a lot.
The municipal banner is a cloth divided yellow and blue. Beyond the borders of the province the name of Revigliasco is tied to two things alone, with little in common between them: cherries and tamburello, the ball game played in teams.
