The patroness of Viarigi is Saint Agatha, celebrated on 5 February, after whom the parish church is named; the hamlet of Accorneri instead holds its patronal feast on the first Sunday of September.
Beneath the parish church extends the Antico Voltone, a stretch of the curtain wall that enclosed the old settlement in the Middle Ages; the municipality of 955 inhabitants in the province of Asti also holds the Torre dei Segnali and the Chiesa di San Silverio.
