The patron saint of Mondovì is the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, celebrated on 8 September.
The town is known for the Carlevè 'd Mondvì, the Carnival of Mondovì, which re-enacts through historical performances the ancient invasion of the Moors, together with the election of the Bela Monregaleisa and traditional parades of allegorical floats. The historic centre also hosts the Spring Fair, with exhibition sectors devoted to cars, farm machinery, construction, crafts and agricultural produce. The town also holds the Cathedral of San Donato and the Belvedere civic tower.
