At Bogogno, in a spot called Minerva, a votive stone dedicated to Diana turned up, and the name suggests a temple once stood there; it is now in the Cathedral Museum in Novara. In 962 a diploma of Otto I granted the village to the canons of San Giulio.
Outside the village, on the road to Veruno, stands the oratory of San Giacomo, of stone and brick, with a bell gable. The apse frescoes are dated 1473 and attributed to Giovanni de Campo; on one wall St Eligius sets a leg back on a maimed horse under the blacksmith's stare. In the nineteenth century the church served as a lazaretto.
