Outside the village, along the old Via Francigena, stands the pieve of San Genesio, which the locals also call the devil's church. On 22 April 2012 lightning brought down part of its bell tower, later rebuilt. The present parish church, the Santissima Trinità, is eighteenth-century and was born of the union of two older parishes, San Genesio and Santa Maria.

In the same countryside lies an erratic boulder they call the Preja da scalavè: a rounded block of serpentine, four metres across at the base and five high, left there by the glaciations. Up in the village, the medieval castle, remade at the end of the nineteenth century by Maurizio della Porta, is now a care home.

Saint Genesius, patron of the town of the strawberry grape hills

📅 Every year, on 25 August; August also brings the strawberry grape festival, grown on the hills of Suno

Suno celebrates Saint Genesius of Rome on 25 August, in the parish church dedicated to him; on the area's hills, both strawberry grapes, celebrated with a traditional festival in August, and wine are produced, so much so that the town is part of the Wine Towns network.
