The patroness of Bussoleno is Saint Mary of the Assumption, celebrated on 15 August in the parish church dedicated to her. Inside it holds several valuable paintings: a Madonna and Child, an Annunciation and a 14th-century wooden crucifix.
Bussoleno's territory also holds Castel Borello, in the hamlet of Baroni, probably dating from the 12th century. In the old town notable civic buildings are also preserved, such as the Allais fortified house, behind the church, and the Aschieri house; the old Osteria della Croce Bianca, also known as Casa Amprimo, beside the Porta di Francia, was for centuries the town's main inn within the walls, frequented by noble families, as shown by the coats of arms still visible at its entrance.
