The patroness of Locana is the Madonna del Cantellino, celebrated on the first Sunday of September; the village holds the Chiesa di San Pietro in Vincoli.
It is the most deeply felt and best attended festival of the village (Nativity of the Virgin Mary), while the patron's feast is the feast of San Pietro in Vincoli. In mid-July the Festa della Montagna (Mountain Festival) is held; on the last Sunday of July the pilgrimage to the Santuario di Sant'Anna (1,481 metres above sea level), in the locality of Meinardi above the hamlet of Fey, takes place; from December to January, in the hamlet of Chironio, countless nativity scenes made with different materials can be visited. The municipality also holds the Santuario Sant'Anna, the Chiesa di San Giuseppe and Casaforte di Pianit.
